- From Chicago & western suburbs (less than 80 minutes from Naperville)
- Take I-88 west past DeKalb, then I-39 North to the second exit (Route 64). Turn left (west) toward Oregon.
- Follow Route 64 west for 14 miles to the first stoplight, at Daysville Road on the east side of Oregon.
- Turn left (south) on Daysville Road for about 2 miles to Lowden Road, following the signs to Lowden-Miller State Forest.
- Bear right on Lowden Road for about 1 mile to our entrance.
- From northwestern Chicago suburbs & Rockford (less than 80 minutes from Elgin)
- Take I-90 to the east side of Rockford, then take I-39 south to Route 64. Turn right (west) toward Oregon.
- Follow Route 64 west for 14 miles to the first stoplight, at Daysville Road on the east side of Oregon.
- Turn left (south) on Daysville Road for about 2 miles to Lowden Road, following the signs to Lowden-Miller State Forest.
- Bear right on Lowden Road for about 1 mile to our entrance.

- From Sterling/Rock Falls & Dixon
- Take Route 2 north through Dixon, past the cement plant (on left) to Lost Nation Road.
- Turn right on Lost Nation Road and follow it for about 4 miles to the first four-way stop, at Lowden Road.
- Turn left (north) on Lowden Road and follow it for about four miles to our entrance.
