Sinnissippi Forest field trips are fun and educational. Children will learn all about Christmas trees, from planting through harvesting. They will learn why cutting Christmas trees is actually good for our environment. A short hike into the tree field will include identifying different species of trees and the parts of the trees, telling the age of trees, the importance of the trees to the air we breathe, and how wildlife impact the trees and the trees help the wildlife.

A craft is available, so each child has a special keepsake from their trip to Sinnissippi Forest.  Children will see how cut trees are prepared for the journey home.  Following the tour, the children can warm up as they hear stories, sing songs and enjoy popcorn and apple cider.  Coloring books and candy canes are given to each child. Parents and siblings are welcome to come along!

PRICE: $3.50 per student (minimum 8)
Length of Tour: Approximately 1 hour
