    Types of Trees
Not sure which species of Christmas tree to get?  Here's a brief description of the ones available at Sinnissippi Forest:

Scotch Pine:  Our most popular Christmas tree, the Scotch Pine has rigid, blue green foliage, with needles about two to three inches long.  It has sturdy branches and excellent needle retention, and is slightly aromatic.

White Pine:  This fluffy tree has soft, lacy, blue-green foliage with needles about three inches long.  The graceful-looking light-weight evergreen has limber branches and excellent needle retention, with a delicate pine fragrance.

Blue Spruce:  This spruce has stout, three-sided needles about three-quarters of an inch long surrounding the sturdy branches like a bottlebrush.  Its color varies from dark green to indigo blue.  Needles are stiff and tend to be prickly, but needle retention is very good.

Fraser Fir:  This stately fir has soft but firm needles about three-quarters of an inch long that are emerald-green with silver-blue undersides.  Outstanding needle retention and sturdy branching make it a popular choice.

Canaan Fir:  A relatively new variety of Christmas tree, the Caanan Fir is very similar in appearance to the Fraser Fir, though its needles that tend to be longer than those of the Fraser Fir, about one inch in length, and vary more in color.

Concolor Fir:  Most commonly known as White Fir, this evergreen has soft, silvery-blue foliage, with flattened needles about two to three inches long, with a distinctive citrus aroma.  Excellent needle retention makes it an increasingly popular tree.

Douglas Fir:  Its lush, blue-green foliage, with soft needles about one inch in length, is very attractive.  Its sturdy branching and outstanding needle retention make this evergreen a holiday favorite.

FRAGRANT WREATHS in sizes up to 60 inches in diameter, adorned with a hand-tied bow.

FESTIVE ROPING AND GREENS for decorating both inside and outside your home.

STURDY TREE STANDS the finest and easiest to use, with extra large water capacity.
